The two DH will be by far the best, they are not going to stuff it up, the amount of emotion the actors will put into it, will beyond belief.

Harry Melling has been cast, so we'll have the Dursleys. Will they have the wedding? If so, WHERE?!?! Mr. Granger has been cast, so we know that at least one non-book scene has been added.
Probably about half the camping will be cut, and Nagini's attack in Godrick's hollow will be difficult to film. (It might also make them regret 3d) Keep the elder wand, and you have to keep Gregorovitch & Grindelwald; no two ways around that. The Three Brothers can be used by playing it out with Hermionie's voice-over (w or wo H & R's interruptions). We don't need the mirror. Dobby had a habit of dropping in on Harry, and can turn up at the right time. Aberforth can be watching out the window or actually letting his cat out. Goyle will die in the fiendfyre; Josh Herdman has confirmed this. Movie PoA has an unnamed Slytherin boy who looks like Theodore Nott. If he's available, Nott could show up in the RoR. The Prince's Tale: Make Snape's sorting a word-for-word copy of Harry's. Most readers forget Harry brought up Slytherin first, and the Hat's comments were in response to that. One problem in the book; in TPT, Snape is discussing the Seven Potters plan with DD's portrait while persona non grata at Hogwarts. This mistake will be more glaring visually with the DVDs. Final duel: see my prior post. Epilogue - Cut it in half. Keep Harry's lines to Albus Severus about Snape, but leave out the part about choosing Gryffindor. One change I'd like to see: replace Draco in that scene with a very embarrased looking Dudley Finally: 3D?! I'm blind in one eye. Will I even be able to see the damn thing?! |

Harry Melling has been cast, so we'll have the Dursleys. One change I'd like to see: replace Draco in that scene with a very embarrased looking Dudley This is a relief! The series needs to give Harry closure with the Dursleys and I was worried that they might skip "The Dursleys Departing" as they did "Will and Won't" in HBP. I do think Draco's incomplete redemption (because he is so ungrateful and unappreciative of what both Snape and Dumbledore sacrificed to keep him from damaging his soul with murder) is a good thing to leave in from JKR's epilogue. Oh, and something else you mentioned: the mirror shard. I think I saw it in the First Footage from DH feature on Disc 2 of HBP - but Harry is sitting on the forest floor with it, not Malfoy Manor's cellar or his bedroom at the Dursleys'.
