Just a little question who's your favourite character in HBP? :conf:

Funny sig! Yeah... all the ones you mentioned are up there on my list too! It's too hard to pick a favorite... I can safely say that DD is/was my all time favorite... but after him, it's hard to choose. I like Snape for the mere fact that he is SO hard to figure out!
Tie between Snape and Dumbledore. Snape is just such a cool character and it was cool seeing more of Dumbledore.
Accualy I would say the charecter I was most interested in was Voldemort. He's not my favorite charecter, just because I can't have my favorite be the one who is killing all of these people.

If I had to narrow dow my list to 2 it would be Snape and Luna.

Luna! Especially as quidditch commentator!
Technically it has to be Ron, but he's my favourite overall so I will discount him for this and say... Dumbledore. Just because I felt that JKR really nailed his character in this, he had so many great moments (very quotable) and of course the ending just made me love him even more.
Other characters I really liked/was really interested by were: Slughorn, Luna, and Tom Riddle. Bit of an odd mix really!

My favorite is Harry. He has matured a lot, and I love the way he talked to the Minister of Magic and all the DD's man through and through stuff and when he kiss Ginny...and the way he looks after DD after the cave.

Definitely Harry, DD, Ron+Hermione, and Ginny.
Ginny... In this book you learn more about how funny and talented she is. I just love how happy she makes Harry...The poor kid needs happiness these days. I do love Luna also in this book... The Quidditch commentary is priceless.
Favourite "new" character (one who we meet for the first time in HBP): Merope. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. She was a fascinating revelation and must have been an interesting character to write.
Favourite "continuing" character: Neville. A somewhat tragic yet likeable fellow.

I can't NOT love most of the major characters. Luna, Fred and George were amazing as always for a bit of light releif.
